Connected Intelligence Through MCP

Mondria Is Building an AI-First MSP

Samuel Nadeau, Mondria

Mondria has big plans for growth, and they knew Pax8 could help them get there. However, as their business began to grow, so did the complexity of managing subscriptions, renewals and billing. Every Pax8 Marketplace interaction required manual effort, from validating licenses to reconciling billing data across systems. Processes that touched finance, sales, operations and support often depended on employees moving information between platforms, creating inefficiencies that limited scalability. To continue growing without adding operational overhead, Mondria didn’t have to look far for a better way to connect its systems, automate repetitive work and make critical business data more accessible across the organization. Pax8 had a solution.

How Pax8 Helped

Mondria adopted Pax8’s MCP server as the connective layer between the Pax8 Marketplace and the systems running the business. By linking MCP with Autotask, internal documentation and a custom AI agent the team built around its workflows, Mondria created a single point of access for customer, subscription and operational data.

“MCP is helping us move from disconnected systems to connected intelligence,” said Samuel Nadeau, President of Mondria. As the MCP server evolved from read access to write actions, Mondria saw an opportunity to automate more of the customer lifecycle. Samuel pointed to license provisioning as one example, “today, support submits manual requests to the provisioning team to add licenses to a customer account. With write actions, that request could move through an internal agent, trigger an approval workflow and automatically provision the license in the Pax8 Marketplace once approved.”

The internal agent gives Mondria teams a faster way to get work done, surfacing information from Pax8, Autotask and internal systems through simple prompts. It also powers Microsoft renewal workflows, helping the team identify upcoming renewals, draft customer communications and manage approvals in one streamlined process. “One workflow we’ve been able to completely automate is the renewal process,” Nadeau said. “We identify when licenses will be renewed, draft an email, send it to the customer and validate whether they want to renew. Microsoft renewals were a painful point for the whole sales team, and now they’re completely automated.”

Short on Time? Here’s a Quick Overview:
  • Manual processes slowed growth
  • Pax8’s MCP unlocked automation
  • One agent, multiple systems
  • Manual renewals automated
  • Operations built to scale

Outcomes and Results

With Pax8’s MCP server now at the center of operations, Mondria has reduced the amount of manual work required to manage subscriptions, renewals and Marketplace interactions. Teams can access information faster, eliminate repetitive tasks and spend less time switching between systems.

The biggest impact has been the ability to scale. Processes that previously depended on employees manually retrieving and validating information can now be automated or coordinated through AI-assisted workflows. Billing reconciliation has become more manageable, renewal visibility has improved and teams have greater confidence in the accuracy of the data they use every day.

The efficiencies created through automation are now being reinvested where they matter most: customer relationships. “We’re reinvesting the time automation gives back into relationships with our end customers. Building those relationships is key, and there’s no way we’re ever going to automate that.”

“MCP was a turning point for us. It gave us the connectivity and automation capabilities we had been missing, allowing us to streamline processes across the business. The impact was significant enough that we ultimately consolidated our operations on Pax8."
