Credential-based attacks are rising. Microsoft recommends phishing-resistant MFA using FIDO2, passkeys or certificate-based methods to reduce exposure.
Partners must maintain a Partner Centre Secure Score of 80 or higher to remain eligible in the Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) programme. This includes enabling MFA, designating security contacts and responding to alerts within 24 hours.

- Less than 24-hour response time to security alerts
- Minimum revenue thresholds for direct and indirect partners
Non-compliance may result in loss of CSP credentials, inability to transact or removal from Microsoft’s partner ecosystem. Annual assessments will verify eligibility.
Agent 365 is the governance layer for managing agents for your clients.
Microsoft organises Agent 365 around three pillars:
- Observe: Visibility into the agent estate, including a centralised Agent Registry, usage analytics, relationship mapping and risk signals.
- Govern: IT-controlled onboarding, lifecycle management (activate, suspend, retire), ownership controls and policy-driven access through Entra Agent ID.
- Secure: Conditional Access for agents, DLP enforcement on agent interactions through Purview and threat protection through Defender, including prompt injection and data exfiltration detection.
Agent 365 is the tool for governing and managing agents, not building them. Agents are still built using Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry.
