BRISTOL, UK (5 February ,2026) – Pax8, the leading cloud commerce Marketplace, today announced Marc Groetelaars as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Pax8 European region. In this role, Groetelaars will lead the region’s sales and marketing strategy and technical presales.
Groetelaars brings more than two decades of experience in the technology sector, much of it within the IT channel, holding EMEA Vice President roles at Eficode, DataStax, Rescale, ZScaler and VMware. He has seen the industry evolve from on‑premises solutions to cloud‑based models and has built strong expertise in cloud technologies and security. Groetelaars is based in the Netherlands and will report to Harald Nuij, EMEA CEO at Pax8.

Groetelaars has a long track record of developing culture‑rich teams across diverse regions, supported by extensive experience leading commercial and operational functions in the technology sector. Over the past eight years he has held senior leadership roles with responsibility for shaping regional strategy, vendor engagement and driving sustainable growth across Europe. His deep understanding of how emerging technologies such as AI and automation can support partners positions him well to lead the next phase of growth in the region.
