Pax8 acquires Microsoft Dynamics services company Bam Boom Cloud
The latest company to join the Pax8 family is Bam Boom Cloud, an award-winning Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central services organization. This acquisition will allow our MSP partners to easily add new services and offerings.
Pax8 and Bam Boom Cloud are a match made in heaven — Bam Boom is the Global 2022 Microsoft Partner of the Year: Dynamics 365 Business Central, while Pax8 has won the Microsoft Customer Experience Award, Microsoft Indirect Provider Award, and Microsoft Modern Workplace for SMB Award. Together, we’re excited to offer a Microsoft one-stop shop for our partners and to allow them to offer their customers all things Microsoft.
By leveraging Bam Boom’s Microsoft Dynamics expertise, you can increase your average contract value on Microsoft 365 by 600% on top of increased customer adds. Additionally, partners transacting all Microsoft clouds see on average 20% faster growth year-over-year than partners transacting just one cloud. Dynamics 365 helps drive more Microsoft Azure cloud consumption, as well as Power Platform and Microsoft 365 upselling. And partners transacting Dynamics 365 are growing the fastest in the channel and have the lowest churn.
The latest with GDAP
Microsoft is upping its security and compliance efforts by introducing granular delegated admin privileges (GDAP). It’s an evolution of DAP (delegated admin privileges) that offers partners extraordinary control over who and how tenants are accessed by staff.
GDAP lowers security risks by enabling custom roles and access time limit constraints. By being able to assign users and groups to specific relationships, you can ensure that only those team members authorized to do so can access designated environments.
Microsoft will begin transitioning active and inactive DAP relationships to GDAP on May 22, 2023. For any relationships that have transitioned to GDAP, DAP relationships will be removed 30 days later. They will pause the transition for June to close the fiscal year.
GDAP is now live in the Pax8 Marketplace. Net new Pax8 relationships have the option to implement GDAP using the GDAP tool on the Microsoft Tools page. Partners can establish GDAP between Pax8 and their new customer in the provisioning tasks when establishing the customer tenant with Pax8. Only partner admins and primary partner admins can generate GDAP relationship requests.

Microsoft 365 Business Premium helps clients power up their productivity with unified security

Microsoft to apply FX rates in EMEA
Microsoft has announced adjustments to global pricing. Starting April 1, 2023, pricing for Microsoft Cloud products will be adjusted in the following currencies:
- GBP: +9%
- DKK, EUR, and NOK: +11%
- SEK: +15%
Products in the Pax8 Marketplace will automatically include the FX rate adjustment for impacted regions. You’ll see one price (with the USD price and FX combined) when checking out.
