How to guide for GTM campaign landing pages

Please see Confluence for visual, annotated how-to steps!

Global launch process overview (Miro)

UX Phase (user experience and information architecture)

  1. LP requirements guide – have this fully filled out by the solutions manager (SM) and project manager (PM) to inform template selection (you may need to help guide to get essential details)
  2. LP Template Library (Figma) – choose a template based on the LP requirements

Build Phase

Build LP on WordPress Pax8 GTM Campaign website:

  • Find and clone template XX:
    • Pages > Admin how to guide > hover over page name and click “Clone”
  • Move cloned page under correct parent page based on region and language
  • Rename the cloned page, and add the disclaimer DO NOT PUBLISH (save as “draft”)
  • Add the correct regional footer to the page:
    • Copy/paste footer from Pages > Admin how to guide > Footers
  • Add the correct form to the page:
    • Pages > Admin how to guide > Form XX
  • Add all approved copy and links (links should be delivered in the final copy doc)
  • Add all approved images and alt text (images or videos must be delivered to specifications, DO NOT ADD ASSETS TO THE MEDIA LIBRARY THAT DO NOT MEET SPECS)
  • Post the final page in the project’s Miro board for review (the project manager sets up the board)
    • Edits and approvals will be made with sticky notes
    • Final, approved copy edits must be made to the copy doc by the writer
    • Translation edits must be sent back to SuperText by Stela for incorporation in our Translation Memory (TM)
  • Check desktop, tablet, and phone layouts, and adjust spacing where necessary
  • Check that the page meets our WCAG / AA accessibility standards
  • QA
  • Publish
  • Post-publish QA on all devices

  • IMPORTANT: No writing happens in the template itself
