BRISTOL, UK (29 January, 2026) – Pax8, the leading cloud commerce Marketplace, has been selected as a Strategic Partner in the UK Government’s AI Skills Boost programme, an initiative designed to equip ten million workers with practical AI skills by 2030. Led by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT), the nationwide effort aims to ensure that people and businesses across the UK can benefit from the opportunities created by artificial intelligence. Pax8 joins a group of founding partners, including Microsoft, to strengthen and grow the existing programme.
The AI Skills Boost programme provides free, industry‑developed AI courses accessible through the Government’s AI Skills Hub. These courses have been benchmarked against Skills England’s AI foundations standard and are designed to help workers develop confidence in tasks such as creating content, using AI tools in daily workflows and improving productivity.
As a Strategic Partner, Pax8 will support DSIT by driving AI learning opportunities through the channel community, while sharing insights and real-world adoption trends from across the SMB technology ecosystem. This partnership aligns with Pax8’s ongoing work to build AI capability, support managed service providers transition to offering intelligent services and contribute to national goals that foster innovation and economic growth.
