Program Updates

Microsoft 365 Business Premium and Office 365 E1 Grant Changes

One of the most significant updates this month is the official retirement of several free Microsoft 365 nonprofit SKUs. As of July 1, nonprofit organizations can no longer acquire the following licenses through CSP or web-direct channels:

  • Microsoft Office 365 E1 (Nonprofit staff pricing)
  • Microsoft 365 Business Premium Donation (Nonprofit staff pricing)
  • Microsoft 365 Business Premium Donation (Nonprofit pricing, under the New Commerce Experience)

While free SKUs are being phased out, the Microsoft 365 Business Basic Grant—offering up to 300 free seats—remains available. Discounted pricing for other nonprofit SKUs is also unaffected, which means there are still affordable options for organizations that need to transition.

Promotions and Offers

Microsoft is offering a suite of limited-time promotions to help partners drive adoption across key workloads:

  • Microsoft 365 E3 and E5: 15% off annual term or one-year term; max 2,400 seats; first-time purchase only
  • Office 365 E1 (ASEAN): 60% off annual term; minimum 100 seats, maximum 2,400 seats; new-to-Microsoft customers
  • Office 365 E1 Plus: 30% off annual term; minimum 100 seats, maximum 2,400 seats; first-time purchase only
  • Copilot for Microsoft 365: 15% off annual term; minimum 10 seats, maximum 300 seats; must meet pre-req SKUs
  • E5 Compliance: 50% off; new and existing customers with pre-req SKUs
  • Dynamics 365 Business Central: 10% off annual term; 300 seats maximum; for Microsoft 365 Business Standard/Premium users

Pax8 Microsoft 365 Copilot Rewards Program

AI continues to be a major focus for Microsoft, and we’re offering rewards that make it easier—and more profitable—for partners to bring Copilot to their clients.

Pax8 is offering partners one month free for every qualifying Copilot for Microsoft 365 license they purchase (value of $30). Partners must opt-in through a registration form, and seats must be purchased on a net new subscription for a 12-month term. The rebate is valid only for the initial quantity ordered (quantity increases are not eligible).

Pax8 is also providing a suite of enablement resources to help you go to market with Copilot, including editable PowerPoint templates, a campaign-in-a-box launching in October and end-user training hosted by Microsoft. Whether you’re just getting started or looking to scale your Copilot practice, these tools can help you accelerate adoption and drive revenue.

Microsoft Program Updates

Looking ahead to October 1, 2025, Microsoft is implementing new requirements for indirect resellers that will impact your eligibility for incentives and your ability to transact in the CSP program.

To remain in good standing, partners must complete business vetting, maintain at least $1,000 in trailing 12-month (TTM) billed revenue at the reseller tenant level and meet the mandatory Partner Center security score requirements. You’ll also need to accept the updated Indirect Reseller Microsoft Partner Agreement.

Incentive eligibility is also getting more rigorous. Partners must either hold a Solutions Partner designation or earn at least 25 capability points in each solution area. Additionally, you’ll need to generate $25,000 in TTM revenue per solution area to qualify for related incentives.

To ensure your CSP enrollment is in good standing, your global admin should regularly check partner center notifications via the action center. If you have any questions, please contact Microsoft Support directly. Pax8 will not be able to support due to compliance reasons set by Microsoft.

Tech for Social Impact Updates

To reward partners for incremental nonprofit Azure growth and customer acquisition, the Pax8 Nonprofit Azure Accelerate Reward Program allows partners to earn up to $10,000 in rewards. This program runs through September 30, 2025, and also offers access to experts from Pax8 and Microsoft TSI to plan and close deals.

Here’s how it works: If you bring in a new nonprofit customer or have an existing customer with zero Azure consumption for three consecutive months who begins contributing at least $500 in monthly Azure Consumed Revenue (ACR) for two consecutive months, you’ll earn a $500 bonus. On top of that, you can earn up to $5,000 in rewards based on your total incremental ACR growth during the program period.
