2024 was a big year for the managed service provider (MSP) community. From the unveiling of Microsoft\u2019s AI companion, Copilot, to major updates to the Pax8 Marketplace, this year saw big changes for our Pax8 partners. Leadership transitions: Pax8 charts a path toward further innovation<\/h3>\n

In a strategic move to further drive innovation, Pax8 named Scott Chasin its new Chief Executive Officer<\/a>. With a robust background in technology leadership, Chasin is poised to guide Pax8 into its next phase of growth. John Street, our founder, continues to provide strategic direction as Chairman of the Board.<\/p>\n

Pax8 also elevated Nick Heddy to President and Chief Commerce Officer<\/a>. In his new dual role, Heddy continues to lead Pax8\u2019s global sales, experience, marketing, and community teams, driving excellence across the organization. As a strategic partner to Chasin, Heddy plays a vital role in shaping the technology marketplace of the future.<\/p>\n

Award-winning excellence: Pax8 named Microsoft Global and NA Partner of the Year<\/h3>\n

We were honored to be named Global Partner of the Year<\/a> by Microsoft among a global field of top partners for our innovation and customer-focused solutions built on Microsoft technology. Our recognition as North American Partner of the Year further underscores our commitment to empowering MSPs with best-in-class solutions.<\/p>\n

Beyond: global events cultivate community, education, and innovation<\/h3>\n

Our annual Beyond conference in Denver, which brings together partners to explore the future of cloud solutions, continued to be stronger than ever this year. Libby McIlhany, Pax8 Chief Product Officer, walked partners through the new Marketplace experience<\/a>. At the show, Sourcepass was named our Global Partner of the Year.<\/p>\n

Our first-ever Beyond EMEA<\/a> event was also held this year, highlighting our commitment to the region and focusing on new Marketplace features such as Custom Products. Mirus IT was named EMEA partner of the year.<\/p>\n

The new Marketplace: evolution empowers partner success<\/h3>\n

Midway through the year, we launched the new Pax8 Marketplace<\/a>, harnessing data-driven insights and machine learning to enhance our partners\u2019 business efficiency and growth. The new features include Opportunity Explorer, enhanced functionality within Catalog, Solutions, Multi-cart, new Quotes capabilities, custom Storefronts, and an intuitively designed interface to help redefine how IT professionals manage and expand their businesses. Explore the new Marketplace now<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Among the new features in the new Marketplace, Opportunity Explorer<\/a> is one of the most exciting. This AI-driven tool in the new Pax8 Marketplace provides actionable insights, enabling partners to identify sales opportunities and tailor recommendations, thereby enhancing growth potential.<\/p>\n

In addition, the Marketplace unveiled Storefronts<\/a> to help partners build their brands. With Storefronts, MSPs can now create branded buying experiences for customers seeking self-service options, streamlining the purchasing process and reinforcing brand identity.<\/p>\n

Pax8 Voyager Alliance: program offers tailored partner support<\/h3>\n

Launched at Beyond EMEA and operational since November 1, 2024, the Pax8 Voyager Alliance<\/a> partner program offers a scalable, strategic path to growth and retention. With tailored tiers, it delivers curated enablement, education, and support, ensuring partners receive exactly what they need, precisely when they need it. Explore Pax8 Voyager Alliance<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Copilot launches: Microsoft and Pax8 help partner deliver AI<\/h3>\n

As Microsoft launched its Copilot AI companion, Pax8 became the leading provider of Copilot to MSPs, helping partners offer increased productivity, efficiency, and growth with the inclusion of Microsoft Copilot in our Marketplace<\/a>. Our initiatives around Copilot have helped partners everywhere give their clients practical tools to leverage AI, ensuring small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) have access to this transformative technology.<\/p>\n

Enhanced security measures: new programs help safeguard partner interests<\/h3>\n

In response to evolving cybersecurity threats, Pax8 introduced a comprehensive security program<\/a> based on the CIS Control Framework. This program assists partners in establishing robust security practices, offering business and category-level education, vendor-specific training, and professional services to strengthen their security posture.<\/p>\n

Pax8 and ConnectWise also have joined forces to fortify cybersecurity. This new, strategic partnership<\/a> integrates ConnectWise\u2019s Managed Detection and Response (MDR)\u2122 solution into the Pax8 Marketplace, helping MSPs offer enhanced data protection capabilities.<\/p>\n

Delivering more value to our partners with 30-plus new vendors<\/h3>\n

This year, we added 33 new vendors to the Pax8 Marketplace, helping address the unique needs of our partners and their clients. These new additions run the gamut from productivity tools to advanced cybersecurity solutions, reflecting our dedication to empowering MSPs with the latest and greatest solutions that help businesses grow and thrive. New vendors include SuperOps<\/a>, Commvault<\/a>, MSPbots<\/a>, and GoTo<\/a>.<\/p>\n
